Manager of Giving Operations

Description

SCAD seeks a manager of giving operations to work cross-functionally with multiple university departments and locations to ensure efficiency and excellence in fundraising efforts.

In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing the productivity of the university’s fundraising department through management and oversight of the CRM database, robust development reporting, department administration and management of in-kind gifts.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned and capable professional with exceptional organizational skills and knowledge of development program best practices and the laws pertaining to fundraising. You should have experience maintaining prospect information and data management systems, and creating policies, procedures and training materials.

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to this role, as you will work with senior management, major donors and the diverse communities served by SCAD. You should be highly detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to prioritize work and perform simultaneous tasks while adhering to deadlines.

This role requires good problem-solving and analytical skills, a high degree of initiative, accuracy and personal responsibility, and a commitment to delivering excellent internal and external customer service. Ideal candidates are proactive, solutions oriented, highly collaborative as well as autonomous, and exhibit a passion for the university’s mission.

Fundraising operations management experience preferred, and Salesforce and Banner systems experience is a plus.

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree
-At least four years of related experience with development operations, project management, nonprofit management, and/or events management
-Computer literacy; able to use word-processing, spreadsheet, database and project software
