SCAD seeks a part-time League of Legends head coach to manage the day-to-day operation and supervision of the SCAD League of Legends esports team, analyze performance and instruct student-athletes in strategies and techniques to prepare them for competition. The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of the collegiate esports landscape, including governing bodies, national tournaments, competition guidelines and streaming platforms. You have proven leadership ability, excellent communication skills and a commitment to student development. Additionally, you are able to establish and cultivate effective working relationships in a team-oriented environment. This position may require some driving when the team is traveling for competition, but most competition is done online, making travel minimal. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree - Coaching or teaching experience, with at least one year of competitive esports experience involving multiplayer online video games with team-based elements - Experience in fundraising in a college environment - Experience managing budgets To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
