Seton Hall University Department of Art Design & Interactive Multimedia is currently searching for an adjunct professor to teach game design this fall at its South Orange NJ campus, 30 minutes by train from Penn Station NYC. The couse is offered Tuesdays from 5-7:30 PM. Salary $3600.
Introduction to the theory and practice of game design for interactive home entertainment, education, single and multiplayer video games. Students study the history of games, game genres, game technology, organization, psychology, story and structure. Students will complete design assignments exploring topics discussed in class such as game prototyping, interface design and character creation.
