Post-­‐Doc and Student in Computational Imaging

Description

The Computational Imaging group at KAUST, led by Prof. Wolfgang Heidrich is seeking new students and PostDocs.

The research activities are highly multi-disciplinary and hence opportunities for highly motivated and skilled individuals with

a strong background in one or more of the following research areas:

• Computer Science, with a focus on imaging, vision, graphics, machine learning, numerical optimization.
• Applied Mathematics, with expertise in numerical methods and optimization, statistics/machine learning, and strong programming skills.
• Optical Engineering, with am emphasis on design of imaging optics or diffractive optics.
• Electrical Engineering, in particular electronic design at frequencies of 100 MHz-1GHz, or experience with building camera hardware.
