Interactive Project Manager

Join the SCAD interactive services department as interactive project manager, where you will guide projects to completion and ensure quality of deliverables.

In this role, you will interface with communication managers, creative directors, project partners and the development team assigned to each project, and manage all aspects of the delivery team, including timelines, deliverables and final handoff to clients. This includes assisting the director of interactive with creative briefs and client relationship management, outlining work plan responsibilities and scope, scheduling each phase of a project and arranging for outside talent when necessary.

You will maintain strong working relationships with communication managers and client contacts, and communicate milestones, completion dates, contract costs and quality expectations with all stakeholders. At the completion of each job, you will perform project closure activities, including obtaining user acceptance of completed products or services, releasing contract and permanent staff from the project and completing “lessons learned” documentation on project management software.

The ideal candidate has a clear understanding of interactive strategy, design, production and social media tactics, and a demonstrated ability to work with and manage people from a variety of professional backgrounds and communication styles. You should be detail oriented, highly organized and comfortable turning guidance from the director of interactive into actionable, measureable and scalable project plans. Strong communication skills, follow-through and multitasking abilities are essential in this role, as well as a working knowledge of Asana, Jira, Workgroups DaVinci and Microsoft Office tools.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree
– Minimum of three years of experience in project management roles within a digital agency, corporate marketing environment with online marketing web initiatives or the equivalent
– Ability to develop project scope and objective documentation, provide written communications on project status and maintain project records
