Student Success Adviser

Description

Join SCAD as a student success adviser and help students navigate the complexities of academic degree programs and university life.

In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for undergraduate students and assist them in successfully completing an educational program at SCAD. You will build relationships with a caseload of students assigned by major prior to their matriculation, and guide students through orientation activities and the First Year Experience course.

You will continue to monitor student progress through proactive student outreach and early alert programming until graduation, ensuring students are connected with the university services and programs necessary to flourish in the classroom and beyond.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a student-focused approach, strong people skills and the ability to work well one-on-one and in a group.

Requirements:
— Master’s degree 
— Background in counseling, education or related area
