Description

SCAD seeks a photographer to create breathtaking visuals to share the life-changing experience the university offers.

In this role, you will report to the director of visual media and be responsible for completing a variety of projects, including photo shoots as well as documentary- and promotional-style photography. You will adhere to each project’s due dates and timelines, document each shoot and ensure each image file adheres to the naming conventions and production workflow of the department. In addition to returning university equipment in good condition and placing items in the proper storage area, you will serve as a liaison between the communications department and outside departments.

The ideal candidate is creatively and technically proficient in a variety of styles, including commercial, studio, lifestyle and portrait photography and photojournalism. You should have extensive knowledge of technical photo finishing and retouching using Adobe Creative Suite software and should approach each assignment with enthusiasm, creativity and professionalism.

Requirements:
–Bachelor’s degree in related field
–Two years of magazine or newspaper photography experience
