Director of Student Success

SCAD seeks a director of student success for the SCAD Hong Kong campus. This position reports to the vice president of SCAD Hong Kong and oversees, coordinates and participates actively in the day-to-day operations of student services, serving as a liaison between SCAD Hong Kong and the student success and career services offices in the U.S.

Primary responsibilities include directing and coordinating student success initiatives, including activities and student involvement, academic advising, student conduct, counseling and student support services, career services and coordinating community service efforts.
The ideal candidate works well within multicultural environments, respects and values diversity, and will be involved, engaged and hands-on while being flexible and adaptable in a changing, fast-paced environment. You have the ability to represent SCAD in a positive and professional manner in order to build relationships and the reputation of the university. You will also assume a variety of duties and roles outside of typical job expectations.

Requirements:
–Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) in education, student development, counseling, or a related field
–Five to 10 years of experience in student services or related profession
