BLIZZARD CINEMATICS TEAM – SIGGRAPH VANCOUVER 2018

Siggraph 2018 Vancouver let's do this! Blizzard Entertainments Cinematic division is always looking for talented individuals to join our team to work across our multiple IP’s such as Overwatch, StarCraft, World of World etc.

Positions we anticipate in our production schedule include:

Animators – Please include a reel link and a reel breakdown.

  • Prior experience working in an animation film pipeline preferred.

FX Artist – Please include a reel link and a reel breakdown.

Character and Environment Modeling – Please include a reel link and a breakdown of your images. 

  • Character Modelers need to have the demonstrated ability to model and sculpt characters of multiple styles (i.e. realistic humans/creatures or robots to stylized characters, with or without concept art).
  • Environment Modelers need to have the ability to create epic environmental assets, both stylized and realistic, ranging from hard-surface vehicles and props to organic assets and entire set pieces.

Technical Directors (TD’s)

  • Heavy Python scripting experience is required for these roles. Strong working knowledge of Maya.  Prior experience with animation tools currently used in the CG/VFX industry, as well as related cross pipeline workflows. You will be providing support for front end or back end departments helping them with technical challenges and debugging. Additionally, work with technical and artistic supervisors to figure out workflows, tool requirements, and asset needs. Lastly, you will implement tools and workflow automation.

Software Engineer (Front End R & D)

  • Maya, C++ API and Python (with PySide / PyQt). Prior skill-sets with profiling, debugging and trouble shooting. A real passion for tools development and efficient artist workflows.
