Tracking Artist

Description

Picture Shop, in Burbank, CA, is seeking a mid to senior level Tracking Artist for upcoming work. 

Responsibilities would include:

•  Being well versed with camera and object tracking, rotomation, and layout. 

• A thorough understanding of 3D camera principles such as lenses, distortion, parallax etc.

• Understand Anamorphic Lenses for the creation of undistorting/re-distorting of plates.

• Being proficient with SynthEyes and 3DS Max.  A working knowledge of Nuke would be a plus as well.

• At least 3 years production experience working in a photo-real/live-action VFX pipeline; commercial, TV, or feature film experience, preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and take direction under tight production schedules while maintaining a high quality of work.
• Ability to be a self-starter and to be resourceful.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
