Marketing Producer

Psyonix, an independent video game developer located in downtown San Diego, is seeking a Marketing Producer to join our team in San Diego, CA. This opportunity is ideal for a Producer who enjoys working with Marketing, Esports and the Community on a growing game. Our production culture is one of facilitation, organizing, and creating clarity in a rapid and agile development environment. Our ideal candidate must be self motivated and collaborative.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
·Working directly with the Marketing, PR, and Community ·Management teams, with support for the Esports team, ensuring efforts are prioritized and aligned with each other
·Collaborating with other studio producers and discipline principles
·Creating schedules, tracking tasks, coordinating reviews, and resolving workflow obstacles
·Identifying areas of improvement, implementing and supporting processes to improve on those areas
·Recording meeting notes and translating them into coherent list of action items
·Providing ongoing risk assessments to the team with respect to weaknesses, bottlenecks, and risks to schedule, while managing expectations
·Managing relationships with external partners and acting as the primary communication point between external and internal teams
·Working with 3rd party contractors, licensors and partners on various initiatives
·Willing to facilitate team needs and special projects

Requirements:
·5+ Years of production experience
·Prior experience working with Marketing, Licensing and Communication teams
·Prior experience working with external publishers 
·Strong multitasking skills; ability to handle multiple tasks at once
·Excellent time management skills 
·Must be detail oriented and display strong problem solving skills
·Has solid interpersonal and relationship building skills
·Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with bug tracking and gantt chart software. 
·Positive attitude and passion for making games
·Worked on a live game

Pluses:
·Understanding of global marketing 
·Is familiar with eSports or plays games that are highly competitive
·Understands game industry trends and history within a specific genre and how it might affect current studio initiatives
