As a member of our Professional Services Team, you spin up, configure and support Zorroa’s machine learning applications in some of the world’s best-known film and television studios, to enable and advance their analysis of images, video and documents. As a technical mastermind of customer solutions, you work directly with clients to help determine the best ways to address their needs, collaborating closely with our Program Managers, Business Development and Product teams to align your work with schedules, sprints and product roadmaps.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Work across a broad range of customer issues and needs to achieve the successful implementation and use of Zorroa’s products.
- Assist the Program Manager and Business Development teams with technical advice, analysis and solution specifications in early stages of customer engagement.
- Be able to analyze clients’ asset storage, databases and security infrastructure in order to optimally install and configure our software.
- Quickly determine the cause of an issue and work with other members of the Development Team to resolve it in the best way.
- File and resolve tickets, work with the rest of the Development team in an Agile fashion.
- Support the testing of new features in release cycles as necessary, and support the customer during the rollout of software updates
- Proactively support customers in the understanding and resolution of any technical issues arising from our software installation.
THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU, IF YOU HAVE:
- 2+ years experience working in a technical capacity at cloud-native enterprise, or Media & Entertainment companies
- Technical knowledge of M&E processes — familiarity with common software packages, image and video file formats, production pipelines, editorial, content delivery, etc
- Residence in the Los Angeles San Francisco Bay, or Vancouver Canada areas
- Knowledge of servers, networks, databases, security, agile methods
- Knowledge of Python, databases, Docker, AWS, GCP
- Minimum BS in Computer Science
- Be able to support clients on-premise or in cloud configurations
- Must be comfortable working solo with customers, either remotely or on site after training
- Excellent problem solving and organization skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, people skills
- Thrive on deadlines and working under pressure across multiple time zones
- Interested in the application of machine learning to images, video and documents
