Unity Engineer
Description
As our Unity Engineer you’ll collaborate with a small team of developers to touch multiple aspects of our codebase. You’ll be charged with creating optimized systems and tools to advance builds towards a polished release across multiple platforms, improve visual fidelity, support content creation by building custom tools, and optimize build performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and build tools to help optimize assets and improve workflows for Art and Design
- Identify and solve performance bottlenecks
- Build and maintain systems that promote continuous integration and testing across multiple platforms
Desired Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience working within video game or related development
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Expert knowledge of Unity Engine and C# programming
- Expert knowledge in one or more of the following systems and pipelines: animation, graphics, shaders
- Strong engineering skills applicable to game development, particularly 3D math and asset optimization
- Experience supporting multiple platforms such as iOS, Mac, PC, and consoles
- Strong desire to learn and stay up to date with the latest Unity techniques and technologies
- Experience setting up Continuous Integration systems a plus
Other Requirements
- Based in the greater Los Angeles area, or willing to relocate
- At least 1 shipped (non-student) title, preferably in Unity
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to legally work in the US
