Gameplay Programmer
Description
Located near Boulder, Colorado, Deck Nine Games is a BAFTA and VGA nominated developer of narrative adventure games. Always innovating, we're growing and are seeking highly qualified programmers to join our amazing team.
Our programmers are in creative positions that collaborate closely across disciplines with some of the most passionate developers in the world.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Design and Art teams to bring ideas and new gameplay features into the game
- Programming content like player locomotion, NPC behaviors, and core gameplay mechanics
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Requirements & Skills:- 2-4 years of industry experience working in C++
- Would consider junior candidates that demonstrate exception talent
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
- Strong math skills with emphasis on 3D math
- Strong knowledge of C++ programming language
- Be a driven, motivated personality that wants to make great games
Pluses:
- Console programming experience
- Passion for playing and developing exceptional games
