JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced
Software Engineer to join our Golden Tee development team. The
candidate will support the development of the current and next
generation Golden Tee games through the improvement of our work process,
whether that be developing new tools or improving existing ones. In
addition to technical skills, applicants must have clear communication
skills, a solid work ethic and be able to thrive in a team environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Update and maintain existing tools used to build Golden Tee. This
includes compiler toolchain, debuggers, development environment and
runtime environment.
• Develop new tools to improve the development pipeline.
• Develop, implement and maintain automated build processes.
• Support the team’s programming needs
EXPERIENCE
• At least 5 years C/C++ experience
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Advanced knowledge of gnu compiler toolchain and gnu make
• Ability to write and debug gnu make files
• Experience with Cygwin and bash scripting
• Experience using Linux in an embedded environment
• Experience profiling large applications
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio development environment
• Experience with any of the following is a plus: Open GL, Python, Perforce, Alien Brain
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent
• Knowledge of game development preferred
• Must be a self-starter, capable of working with minimal direction
