Are you a
talented Matte Painter who’d like to join our team to work on Peter Rabbit 2? You
will create photo-realistic environments, elements and textures that will match
seamlessly into live action plates or stand on their own as Digital Matte Paintings.

What you’ll get to do:
- Produce complex matte
painted elements to a high standard with a thorough understanding of
perspective, lighting, and colour.
- Contribute creative feedback in reviews, and provide input into
the procedures and techniques that will enable the visual requirements of
the film to be met.

Meet project deadlines/milestones, as set by Supervisors,
and the Production Department.

Become proficient with the departments propriety
tools.
What you bring:
·
Expert
knowledge of Photoshop including file management (file format, bit depth,
resolution) is essential.
·
A high level of proficiency with manipulating
photographic reference from sources such as live action plates, digital still
photography and cg elements.
·
A strong understanding and application of
perspective and camera projection in the creation of 2.5D and 3D digital
environments.
·
Practical experience with 2.5D projection within
in Nuke.
·
The ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
·
The ability to work well in a team environment,
with developed interpersonal skills.
·
Attention to detail and accuracy.
·
Strong communication skills
including the ability to produce visual
representations of intended outcomes.
·
The ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem
solve.
The following would be considered a bonus
·
Photogrammetry skills.
