Job Description 

At Dwarf, the Animator is working to bring appealing characters to life while ensuring emotional connection with the audience, the Character Animator effectively tell the story in a meaningful way through acting and movement, work closely with team member and animation supervisors to ensure performance quality through the show

Essential Skills 

• Able to clearly show performance ideas and shot blocking during review
• Able to collaborate with and take direction from leads and animation supervisors
• Strong understanding of timing and weight
• Must be open minded in regard to new technologies
• Must be open to direction and able to embrace change
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Sense of humor required 

Desirable Skills

• Good knowledge of Linux and Shotgun environment 
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Proven experience in successfully prioritizing task in production environment
• Good general knowledge (modeling, rigging, lighting, texturing, etc.) and to be specialized in 3D animation.
