Design Systems Analyst

Foster + Partners' Applied Research + Development (ARD) group is looking for a Design Systems Analyst to join their integrated multi-disciplinary team. ARD conducts state-of-the-art research and development for the firm, with expertise in computational design, performance analysis, optimisation, fabrication and interaction design, and experience of several hundred projects globally, from Swiss Re to the New International Mexico City Airport.

We’re looking for candidates with degrees ranging from architecture to engineering and computer science and very strong programming skills across a wide range of software used in the design process. We are seeking demonstrated experience in one or more of the subject areas in which we are actively conducting research for the company, including augmented and virtual reality, smart buildings and cities, structural optimisation, artificial intelligence, and real-time simulation.

Communication is key to this role and you will be able to collaborate with team members and key points of contact in the design studios. A passion for continuous innovation and learning is essential as is the technical ability to bring that innovation to the solutions you deliver to the Practice.
