Senior Producer/Video Production SME

McManis & Monsalve Associates is looking for a Senior Producer/Video Production Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support USSOCOM's Visual Multi-Media and Support Division. 

Location: United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Headquarters located on MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Development of Creative treatments and production plans, lighting, shooting audio recording, motion graphics design, composting, editing, various post-production services. Fulfill requirements as they are known and directed by the VMSD, as well as subject matter expertise for interdepartmental clients that are consistent with VMSD standards and television industry best practices.
• Shall creates broadcast quality video products while collaborating with the government as well as elevated network-quality productions for high-profile clients and internal special audiences within command.
• Shall manage and assisting through all phases of video product creation, from pre-production through post-production.
• Shall advise VMSD clients on technical processes, techniques and industry best practices to help them facilitate product creation within their own departments at HQ USSOCOM.
• Shall analyze the technical and creative needs of interdepartmental clients and recommend to the government the most appropriate use of available resources in order to balance suspense dates, project complexity, and desired level of finish.
• Shall direct on-camera subjects in order to deliver messaging in the most effective way to ensure lighting and videography elements are professionally executed.
• Shall provide advice to internal VMSD collaborators and interdepartmental VMSD collaborators and interdepartmental VMSD clients to put a professional imprint on all-high profile command video products.
• Shall provide live event expertise to internal VMSD collaborators and interdepartmental VMSD clients as it relates to live event productions where video will be projected to large audiences.
• Shall support work functions will be performed whether on-site or offsite, depending on the unique needs of each project.

Qualifications/Experience:

• 10 years in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition years in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• 10 years combined in videography skills as as a gaffer, grip, and camera operator, lighting, sound, cinematography, digital film and video cameras, as well as lenses
• 10 years in production of commercial quality television products
• Experience producing videotaped live events, elevated documentary programming, motivational videos, large screen theatrical productions and corporate or government communication events.
• Music theory composition, editing, equalization and pitch adjustment for the arrangement of underscores.
• Resourcing large scale complex productions for broadcast, web, and large screen theatrical projection.
• Apple/Mac OSX operating system experience in the past 10 years

Submission Criteria:

1. Candidates are requested to submit two product work samples. These consist of links to full length productions or a short 60-90 second collage reel highlighting the applicants recent stand-out works.
2. Candidates are asked to provide a single page shot sheet which must be included which speaks to the each work and the Senior Producer/Video Productions SME's role on the work.

Candidate must be TS Clearance/SCI eligible. Position dependent upon contract award.
