Technical Artist (Mid to Senior)
Description
Bungie
is looking for a Technical Artist ready to define and build the tools needed to
support external partners. You will work with an internal team to create
workflows and pipelines for sharing content. You will provide technical
consultation for Bungie assets and pipeline solutions as it relates to partner
technologies. The ideal technical artist is ready to work through
ambiguous situations, is highly collaborative and can pivot quickly in a
landscape of changing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Implement the tools and workflows that allow
efficient sharing of content with our partners
- Set up pipelines and provide technical guidance
across all art disciplines
- Provide partners the content and information
needed to expedite their development processes
- Collaborate with internal partner team to
determine priority of feature work
- Learn and document partner development best
practices and pipeline information
- Provide the technical component of art
requirements documentation in collaboration with the Art Director
- Regularly communicate with partners to
determine how we can best support their projects
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of DCC Packages (Max or Maya
preferred)
- Professional experience in Python, C#, C++ or
equivalent
- Strong understanding of PBR concepts and shader
systems
- Solid understanding of game creation pipelines
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems
- Ability to take initiative and work
independently with little supervision
- Strong communication skills in cross-cultural
environment

- Chinese language skills
- Experience working with external partners
