Nuke Post-Vis Compositor

Project: Avatar Sequels


We are a Los Angeles based feature film production company creating movies heavily utilizing AR/VR techniques. We are in search of skilled Nuke compositors to work on a long term, multi-film project.

 

You will be working closely with our editorial, VFX, layout and animation departments doing post-vis compositing on previs and virtual production CG elements with live action plates using Nuke. You will need experience with 3D environments within Nuke, as well as rotoscoping, color correction, and other involved compositing effects. You will need to be detail oriented and willing to assist developers in continuously improving the Nuke pipeline tools.

Required:

·     3+ years of Nuke compositing experience

·     Expertise in compositing, multi-channel EXRs, and CG rendering

·     Experience in the motion picture industry, specifically in Post-Vis for VFX

·     Proven skills in composition, lighting, and color correction

·     Proficiency in rudimentary Linux

·     Willingness to participate in the continuous improvement of the pipeline and production process.

·     Flexibility; this is a dynamic production environment.

·     Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with rapid turnaround

·     Enjoy working collaboratively and problem solving

 

Preferred:

·     Experience with Maya, MotionBuilder or similar graphics applications.

·     Proficient with PF Track
