VFX Coordinator

Project: Avatar Sequels
We are a Los Angeles based feature film production company creating movies in an AR/VR space. We are in search of experienced coordinators.
Ideal candidates must have an eye
for detail and be a great communicator. Must
work well under deadlines and be able to pivot and adapt to the shifting
priorities of production needs. The
ability to evaluate and enforce priorities is paramount. Candidates must have the ability to track
lots of data.
This person should be comfortable
with new and evolving technology. Curiosity
and enthusiasm for virtual production, including performance capture is a plus.
Experience coordinating a team of 10-20
artists in a VFX or Animation pipeline required. Virtual production or motion
capture experience not required, but is a plus.
In
this role the coordinator will be a point of contact to answer questions about
scenes regarding status, or blocker issues. Information gathering, tracking and reporting
on the status of all performer takes as they travel through the department is
key to this position. This requires updating
the internal tracking database and documents with statuses and ensuring other
teams are aware of statuses.
This
coordinator must come to understand our pipelines and enforce
workflows across the team while looking for efficiencies. This person will help trouble shoot where
technology breakdowns occur and contact the correct people to fix issues. Often
working closely with the development team to fix bugs or modify tools.
Candidates must be US citizens or Permanent Residence card (Green Card) holders.
The project is long term and so we
