V-ARMED is looking for an experienced Unreal Engine 4 Developer to join our rapidly growing team of programmers and artists on development of large-scale training scenarios for defense and law enforcement agencies. V-ARMED is a subsidiary of Animated Storyboards Inc., a leading supplier of motion capture animation and CGI, comprising a global team of 300 animators, gaming developers, engineers, designers, VR technicians and project managers. V-Armed creates custom 3D VR simulations for large-scale training. Our life-like multiplayer scenarios enhance mission readiness and situational awareness for defense, law enforcement, first-responder, and engineering teams.
About You:
You are an Unreal Engine expert with a deep knowledge of how the engine works and can be extended. You are a self-starter and quick learner and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Your job will be:
- Implementing game logic and AI in existing and new scenarios.
- Integrating hardware peripherals.
- Maintaining and improving a shared codebase, fixing bugs and ironing out occurring problems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 and the SDK.
- Experience with UE plugin and game development in C++.
- Proficient in Blueprints.
- Strong linear algebra foundation.
It’s a PLUS if you know:
- 3D content creation.
- Developing for VR systems.
- C# desktop development.
- Motion capture systems.
- Developing for Arduino and embedded devices.
- Perforce source control system.
