You can:

Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing

Lead technical team in designing, testing and implementing software solutions to help strengthen and automate technology in a Linux environment

Assist in mentoring junior employees in order to strengthen the team as a whole

Support studios in both LA and Melbourne

You have:

5+ years experience supporting a VFX pipeline

Knowledge of CI systems such as Jenkins and Gitlab

Experience using configuration management (Puppet preferred)

A strong understanding of Linux and in particular CentOS

A strong knowledge of automating cloud environments (Google Cloud experience a plus)

Advanced understanding of network fundamentals

Experience with MySQL replication, backup and monitoring

The ability to setup, configure and maintain a robust monitoring and graphing platform

Proficiencies in scripting languages such as Bash and Python

Familiarity with version control systems: Git, SVN, HG

Knowledge of Virtualization and containers (Docker, Xenserver, etc.)

Experience administering LDAP

Excellent verbal and written communication

A highly drive to complete tasks no matter the obstacles

A need to always learn something new

Strong leadership skills

3+ years of project management experience
