SCAD Hong Kong seeks a full-time professor of UX design to join its dedicated, award-winning faculty and prepare students for rapidly evolving design careers. In this role, you will instruct students in the principles and tools of a progressive platform of programs within the SCAD School of Design, encourage the development of a strong interdisciplinary design community across SCAD locations and collaborate with related academic disciplines including interaction design, industrial design, design management and design for sustainability. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated passion for inspiring and teaching at the college level, and the ability to motivate students and faculty to think creatively and critically. You should have experience working with students and faculty of diverse backgrounds and possess a thorough understanding of user experience design methodology and theories. Strong graphic and idea visualization skills are essential, as is a background in contextual research, experience with prototyping and the ability to create compelling user interfaces that generate engaging interactive experiences with the user. — Terminal degree or its equivalent in interaction design, human-computer interaction, human factors, industrial design, service design, design management, interactive design and game development, graphic design or related discipline
— At least five years of industry experience
