Professor of Digital Communications

Join SCAD Savannah as a full-time professor of digital communications. SCADis seeking accomplished professionals with recent experience in the latest industry technologies and professional practices. In this role, you will instruct students on the use of various design software, vector and raster graphics, image compositing, web design, and 2D and 3D animation, including project management and collaboration techniques using Microsoft Office 365, Google software and Adobe Creative Suite. You will guide students through research and ideation using digital resources, demonstrate digital production using key applications, help students harness a digital persona through website creation and exemplify professionalism by showing students techniques for organizing, planning and collaborating using digital tools. Through your design expertise, technical skills and knowledge of industry trends, you will help students find their creative niche and prepare them for success in creative careers.

Requirements:
• Terminal degree or its equivalent in advertising, broadcast design, graphic design, motion graphics, photography, illustration, or related digital media or communication field, visual effects or a related digital media or communication arts field
