Freelance Designer / Animator

Description

FX Networks is seeking talented freelance Designer/Animators to join our team on a project specific basis. Typical projects include: Network and show brand packaging, design-driven launch teasers, main titles, etc.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years professional experience and a sophisticated understanding of all design and animation styles and genres.

Ideal candidates have a strong sense of design, typography, and branding, as well as animation, editorial, and compositing. In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Applications – specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects – is required. Knowledge of Cinema4D is a plus but not required.

Requirements:

• Strong conceptual and design skills
• Unafraid to push the envelope and experiment with methods of expression
• Fluent in Adobe CC (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc). Experience with Cinema4D is helpful
• Understanding of design and content production processes and workflows
• Experience designing boards and style frame concepts

Qualifications: 

•  2+ years of professional experience in a design or animation studio
•  Excellent Design & 2D Animation skills required, 3D skills a plus.

Applicants must have current legal status to work in the United States and be willing to be paid through payroll versus a 1099.
