Freelance Motion Graphics Producer
Description
FX Networks is seeking freelance producers
that can join our production management team. The primary purpose of this
position is to oversee the daily workflow of assigned projects. This includes
managing requests for graphics and assisting the Creative VPs and Creative
Directors with asset management. You will also be working closely with the
Director of Production to ensure that your projects are staying on schedule. A
typical project would be a show specific on-air promo campaign that includes
creating multiple promo package deliverables, and fielding daily graphic
requests from other departments.
You
need to be friendly, detail oriented, collaborative, well organized, possess
strong communication skills, and be open to new ideas and working processes in
a deadline-driven environment.
Core
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily motion graphics requests based on delivery schedule and available
department resources.
- Maintain workflow efficiency by monitoring quality control and ensuring that
all outgoing graphics are delivered correctly, to the requested specs, and in a
timely manner.
- Be
the point person for your assigned project’s graphic requests - Take detailed
notes, ask questions to fully understand what is being requested, and relay
necessary information to the necessary parties.
- Participate in vendor interactions as needed in order to assist the Creative VP
and Creative Directors in managing projects created out-of-house.
- Provide project status updates to the Director of Production
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional
experience producing motion graphics.
- Strong verbal and written
communication skills with exceptional organization and high level of attention
to detail.
- Self-starter with ability to
work independently and be resourceful. Capable of problem-solving.
- Ability to multi-task and
maintain a level-headedness in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Proactive rather than reactive
- General understanding of
graphics creative software and tools including, but not limited to, After
Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4D.
- Familiarity with video codecs
such as pro res, h264, dnx
- Familiarity with specifications
such as HD, 2K, 4K, 1x1 and 9x16 for social platforms, etc.
- Experience with Wiredrive, Box
and Aspera is helpful but not required
Applicants

be paid through payroll versus a 1099.
