Web Developer II

Description

SCAD seeks an experienced web developer with a track record of creating dynamic, interactive apps and websites focused on exceptional user experiences. The Web Developer II will join our growing team of award-winning designers, developers and content managers to help transform the future of the university’s interactive initiatives.

This position requires a developer who — while solid in the fundamentals of both front- and back-end development — is particularly skilled in JavaScript and working with Web API/REST services. Experience with React and React Native frameworks as well as understanding object-oriented programming is preferred. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning, applying and sharing new skills. They should excel in a collaborative team environment and have strong communication and organization abilities. Familiarity with W3C standards and web accessibility is desired.
