Maya Muscle and Skin TD

FuseFX has an opening in Los Angeles! We have opportunities at our studio for an experienced and talented Maya TD with a focus in muscle and skin using the Ziva Dynamics plug-in.  Artist must have extensive production experience with a background in television and/or feature film VFX to join our creative team.

FuseFX is an Emmy-award winning visual effects and animation studio focused on producing photo-real digital effects for feature film, episodic television, and commercials.

 Traits of a successful FuseFX Maya Muscle and Skin TD:

·         Production level experience creating realistic muscle and skin setups and simulations, specifically using the Ziva Maya plugin for characters including humans, animals, aliens, and monsters

·         Demonstrated ability to rig a variety of characters and objects in a realistic, non-cartoon style

·         Thorough knowledge of weighting and skinning

·         Solid knowledge of Character set-up in Maya

·         Production experience with muscle and skin simulations under tight deadlines

·         5+ years experience in a production environment

·         Knowledge of anatomy and a understanding of bio-mechanics, for humanoid and animals

·         Should effectively execute all necessary assigned tasks while under tight production schedule deadlines

·         Strong creative and technical abilities

·         Excellent problem solving skills

·         Positive attitude

·         Work well in a team environment
