Lightstorm Entertainment is a feature film production company creating movies heavily utilizing AR/VR/MR techniques in the LA area. This position provides you a unique opportunity to work on the set of a cutting-edge major motion production.

This is a long term and full-time position in a friendly, creative, and collaborative working environment. We provide competitive compensation based on your experience level as well as medical, dental and vision insurance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• In this role you will design, develop and maintain core pipeline applications, tools, APIs and services.
• Implement new solutions, as well as learn and provide support for our existing pipeline tools and processes.
• Communication skills are critical as you will constantly interface with a team of artists, developers, and production personnel.
• Ability to create testable, efficient and reusable code.
• Willingness to participate in the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Flexibility; this is a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Industry related degree and/or equivalent work experience.
• Maya, Motionbuilder or similar 3D graphics applications.
• Python, PySide or PyQt.
• Experience in VFX, Games, Entertainment, 3D Graphics, or similar industry experience.
• Experience developing and supporting scalable APIs and applications
• Experience with developing content creation pipelines and workflows..

Desirable Experience

·       Nuke or similar compositing applications.
