ROLE SUMMARY:
Associate Creative Directors help to manage and
execute the creative development of projects, from
initial strategic concept to scalable
real-world creative solutions. May also serve as creative lead on
smaller scale projects or specific areas of
larger scale projects.
Specific Functions/Activities SUMMARY:

Manage
the development and execution of creative concepts and deliverables
·
Collaborate
in the research, development and delivery of creative pitches & proposals
·
Conceive
and create experience-oriented design solutions that fulfill strategic
objectives
·
Work
with the Creative Director to respond to stakeholder feedback; help to steward
the creative integrity
of projects
·
Champion
design goals, helping to keep creative teams on track
·
Advocate
and support the design process, ensuring experience principles are upheld
Team
Leadership
·
Promote
continual creative improvement and actively contribute to a culture of
innovation, excellence and accountability
·
Mentor
and lead creative staff through critique of their work to maintain consistent
creative quality
·
Keep
up with the latest best practices, trends and industry techniques to share
ideas and knowledge with project teams and stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS:
·
5+
years’ experience in a fast-paced professional design studio
·
1+
years’ experience leading creative project teams
·
Impeccable
attention to detail
·
Excellent
communication & relationship-building skills; ability to work with a
variety of people in various
disciplines
·
Objective
listening skills with the ability to contribute to ideation sessions and
capture key takeaways
·
Robust
portfolio demonstrating conceptual and executional excellence
·
A
strong knowledge of the design process in order to guide complex projects from
concept to completion
·
Expert
proficiency in relevant design software (Adobe CS, etc.)
·
Excellent
time management skills, demonstrated ability to organize, set and implement
priorities
