ROLE SUMMARY:
Hands-on creative leader, guiding
interdisciplinary teams through research, strategy development, concepting,
pitching, world-building, and production to
deliver compelling experiences & design solutions.
Specific
Functions/Activities:

Create thoughtful, conceptual work that delivers
on strategy and value
·
Lead collaborative processes with
multi-disciplinary teams; from conception to execution
·
Build relationships with stakeholders and
clients; based on trust, respect, objective listening, and
·
alignment with their needs
·
Steward the creative integrity of projects
·
Work closely with the Director of Creative
Services and Design Director to elevate the team’s creative output
Team Leadership
·
Build, lead, and mentor a team of exceptionally talented
designers
·
Perform strategic hires, lead year end reviews
and employee growth plans
·
Be a voice of focus, keeping the team on a
forward trajectory
·
Cultivate healthy processes and relationships
while pushing creative boundaries
·
Mentor others in developing and communicating
industry-leading concepts
·
Inspire and promote continual creative
improvement and actively contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation,
excellence and accountability
·
Keep up with latest best practices, trends and
industry techniques to share ideas and knowledge with project teams and
stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS:
·
10+
years of experience in creative leadership, developing innovative and engaging
experiential concepts across
digital and physical platforms
·
Proven
track record of generating exceptional creative work and inspiring the same
from others
·
Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to
formulate appropriate overall strategy for a project or client
·
Articulate
and charismatic speaker who can lead discussions and captivate a room
·
Ego-free
leadership style proven to inspire and motivate
·
Adept at visualizing concepts across a wide range of mediums
·
Objective
listening skills with the ability to formulate information into concepts and
designs that are technically
and economically viable
·
Strategic
and agile thinker who can pivot the creative and evolve design to meet shifting
needs
·
Ability
to seed and generate a larger sustainable holistic vision across platforms,
locations, and supporting initiatives
