Assistant Teaching Professor - Television, Radio, Film Production - 074824

The S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University invites applications for a full time faculty position in the Television, Radio & Film (TRF) Department to start August 17, 2020. This will be a two-year appointment at the Assistant Teaching Professor level. Employment beyond the initial two-year-appointment is possible.

The successful candidate will teach a variety of production classes. For this position, a “hands on” comfort with technology and a willingness to "get into the trenches” with students are required. Being a problem solver and good team player is a must as there are collaborations within all areas of the school. We are looking for a creative, engaging and inventive colleague who can help us prepare our students to become stand-out production talent in the entertainment industry. A master's degree is preferred; a bachelor's degree is required.
