Executive Producer- Content Library

The Madison Square Garden Company’s vision is to revolutionize entertainment through MSG Sphere – state-of-the-art venues that will pioneer the next generation of immersive experiences and create unforgettable moments. MSG Sphere will utilize a number of cutting-edge technologies to become the first venue to deliver large-scale, fully immersive experiences. Inside the venue, these technologies include: the largest and highest resolution LED screen on Earth; an advanced acoustics system featuring beamforming technology; an infrasound haptic system that uses vibrations so guests can “feel” the experience; and connectivity that will deliver 25 megabits per second for every guest. Together these technologies will create a powerful platform, making MSG Sphere the venue of choice for a wide variety of content -- including attractions, concerts, residencies, corporate events, product launches and select sporting events. MSG is building its first MSG Sphere venue in Las Vegas with the goal of completing the project during calendar year 2021. In addition to its iconic spherical shape, MSG Sphere in Las Vegas will feature a fully programmable LED exterior.

Executive Producer will be responsible for forging strong relationships with strategic development partners (Clients both internal and external). S/He will be responsible for the creative and commercial viability of her/his projects. Will select projects, define goals, structure project and track progress. Ensures predictability implements plans to manage risks as they emerge.

Specific Functions:

· Creates, syndicates and maintains a comprehensive strategy aligned with the strategic vision of the Content Library. Evaluates trends and opportunities in the market place. Generates and presents trend and opportunity reports to guide product strategy and selection.

· Motivate our team to create unique, visual, emotional and compelling content

· Understand brand so product is consistent with the brand

· In support of good development and live operations, creates a vision for full lifecycle processes including product validation, technical operations, live phase decision making, etc.

· In collaboration with product management and marketing partners, creates a framework to assess, track and validate product quality. Validation should drive decisions that improve chances of success or drive early identification of risks.

· Monitors and reports on development progress.

· Measures and assess risks that are emerging and being managed. When issues arise that could interfere with project goals, proactively implements solutions.

· Oversees product creation costs and allocation of resources. Makes decisions and recommendations about how to deploy resources in support of project goals.

· Directs project resources during development & live operations with the goal of maximizing the commercial potential of the opportunity.

· Establishes and coordinates an ongoing cross-functional working group to support the project and commercial success.

Qualifications:

· College degree or equivalent experience

· 10+ years experience in related field

· Practical experience in setting, guiding and evaluating production processes.

· Track record of budget, project and people management. Track record of direct leadership & significant influence within a scaled organization.
