Description

SCAD seeks a Project Manager to oversee the production of four innovative titles annually that showcase the dynamism and diversity of university degree programs.

In this position, you will help create elegant artist monographs from the SCAD Museum of Art and SCAD FASH: Museum of Fashion + Film. In this role, you will collaborate with the Executive Director of Creative Services and both internal and external stakeholders to ensure aesthetic excellence, compelling content, a streamlined process, and successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of the book creation process from concept to creation to distribution and the myriad steps along the way. The candidate should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively. A positive and proactive approach is imperative as is the ability to be nimble and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a creative, collaborative, and fast-paced environment. The candidate should be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage schedules, approval processes, deadlines, and contributors. The ideal candidate possesses an elevated, adaptable aesthetic tailored to suit a range of dynamic content and formats.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five or more years of project management experience, preferably at a publisher, media company, or similar environment will be considered.
