Job Description
- Create character animations through a blend of key-frame animation and motion capture
- Produce realistic facial animation with strong timing and acting skills, including mocap cleanup and key frame animation
- Work with motion capture data for both cinematic and in-game features
- Organize complicated sets of animation data
- Facilitate and inform tool development
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and programmers to establish, iterate, and refine the animation pipeline
Qualifications
- A strong demo reel that demonstrates expert knowledge of fundamental animation principles and acting skills
- Demonstrate proficient command of weight, timing, and posing through manipulating motion capture data as well as key-framing
- High level of proficiency in Maya and MotionBuilder. Experience working with both body and facial performance capture pipelines recommended
- Work well in a creative, team-oriented environment, exhibiting excellent communication, time-management, and organizational skills
- AAA experience
- 5+ years of professional gameplay animation experience
- Strong keyframe animation skills
- Strong communicator with a positive attitude
Bonus
- A Bachelor's degree or diploma, with an emphasis in animation
- 1 or more published titles working with first person and third person perspectives
- Good technical knowledge of UE4 or other game engines
- Knowledge of Perforce
- Strong acting ability
- High proficiency in technical problem solving
