SCAD Atlanta seeks candidates for part-time faculty positions in fashion. Offering a program that is deeply connected to the fashion industry, SCAD is where the stars of the fashion world visit and work with students, and is the runway from which tomorrow’s designers launch their careers. The internationally recognized SCAD fashion program educates students in the technical aspects, skills and history of fashion while offering opportunities to work one-on-one with top industry professionals. Global media, including The New York Times and Women’s Wear Daily, attend and cover the annual SCAD Atlanta Fashion Showcase, a juried collection of premier garments from undergraduate and graduate collections. The ideal candidate demonstrates a broad knowledge of fashion design. Excellent technical skills and professional recognition are essential in order to join this highly creative, motivated team developing the next generation of fashion designers. You should have strong skills in fashion illustration, design, sketching, pattern construction, concept development, innovation, and computer-aided fashion design using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
