Professor of ESL

Description

SCAD students come from more than 100 countries to live and learn at the university’s global locations in the U.S., France, and Hong Kong. SCAD seeks a full-time SCAD Language Studio professor in Savannah to ensure these talented students feel at home and can communicate effectively both in and out of the classroom. SCAD ESL faculty foster an active and engaging learning environment as they guide students from diverse cultural and
linguistic backgrounds to flourish in their respective studies.

The ideal candidate has three to five years of teaching experience, including experience with curriculum development and in teaching students with a wide range of ESL levels. SCAD professors and staff thrive in a vibrant and entrepreneurial workplace that embraces innovation, creativity, and collaboration.

Requirements:
– Master’s degree in TESOL, applied linguistics, foreign language education, or a related discipline
– Demonstrated teaching excellence at the post-secondary level strongly preferred
– Experience teaching at the post-secondary level strongly preferred
– Exemplary communication skills and experience engaging with a diverse student body
