Software Engineer

Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Design and development of new innovative games

·         Update game features in existing classic products

·         Work with other disciplines (Art, QA, Sound, etc.) as needed to realize our goals

EXPERIENCE

·         At least 8 years of C/C++ experience

·         At least 4 years of experience in the video game industry

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Strong knowledge of C/C++.
• Familiarity with the video game development process is required
• Working knowledge of any of the various video game subsystems is a plus, including: graphics, animation, AI, audio, etc.

·         Experience with any of the following tools is a plus: Visual Studio, Perforce, Python, Postgres

·         Comfortable developing in the windows and the Linux environments

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent

·         Must be a self-starter, capable of working with minimal direction
