Production Assistant

Deck Nine Games is currently hiring a Production Assistant for our next project.

Could this be you? Do you find yourself organizing your family and friends? Does a way too scheduled vacation sound actually kind of neat? Are you obsessed with details? Do you have a relentless drive that you can focus? Most importantly, are you looking for a chance to cut your teeth in games serving a dev team and more senior producers? Are you ready to learn? If so, then you’re the right person for the job.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare spreadsheets and documentation as requested
  • Schedule and note meetings
  • Catalog various assets, tools, or other game information
  • Data entry into Jira
  • Liaise as needed with production and dev team
  • Take every idea and challenge seriously but not personally
  • Come ready to learn, fail, and get better every day

Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience in school or work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Pro at managing competing priorities and time management
  • Great with details, no seriously you actually like and chase details
  • Remain calm and positive in the face of stress and conflict
  • Proficient in MS Office and Windows
  • Full-time position must be willing to eventually relocate to the Denver, Colorado region

Bonus Points

  • Game development experience
  • Personal portfolio of work outside of school projects
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other project management software

Deck Nine Games is an independent game developer dedicated to crafting interactive story games that inspire, transform, and entertain players. Our passion is storytelling games.

Our first narrative game, Life is Strange: Before the Storm is loved by fans and has won multiple awards, including Game of Year and was nominated for both a VGA and a BAFTA. The studio is 100+ people and is in sunny Westminster, Colorado at the base of the Rocky Mountains. We hope to share more information about our next title with Square Enix as soon as we can.
