The UI/UX Designer is the member of the MSG Ventures Interactive team responsible for the de-sign, specification, and implementation of user interaction paradigms (and, ideally, user interface elements) of all projects undertaken by the group.
Specific Functions/Activities
- Collaborate closely with other UI/UX Designers, Product
Managers and Developers
- Analyzing and solving design user based design problems
- Produce final production visuals that will be
implemented into the product
- Create, improve and use wire frames, prototypes, style
guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your ideas using any of
these methods
- Ensuring that a consistent design language is applied
across all the digital products
- Deliver improvements and high-quality solutions based
on the given Data
- Direct, with Art Director’s oversight, any third-party
vendors involved in the user interface or user experience design functions
for both test and polished software.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing UI/UX for desktop,
web, and mobile, with at least 2 years in games.
- Working knowledge of UI implementation using Unity
and/or Unreal is strongly preferred
- Excellent collaboration, communications, and team
relations skills required
- Domain knowledge in game/film 3D art pipelines and
creative process highly preferred
- Expertise with Adobe XD/Sketch,
Visio/Omnigraffle/LucidChart, Photoshop, and Illustrator are required.
Proficiency in the use of 3D modeling software (Maya, Max, etc.) to create
props and UI elements is preferred
- Experience designing and mocking up intuitive non-traditional
user interfaces is required (e.g. AR, VR, and/or two-screen interfaces)
- Comfortable working and designing in
- Knowledge of one of more of languages
