Keyframe 3D Animation Supervisor



For new ambitious projects under development within our company, and within the Animation team, you will be in charge of artistically defining the Animation Department, setting the tone, ensuring the follow-up of the animations Keyframe and perform reviews.

You will oversee producing Keyframe animations by providing high quality animations, corresponding to the high level of requirement that we apply to our productions.

You will intervene mainly on the characters animations, for which you will be in charge of developing real-time animations in Key Frame and integrating your animations in an internal/proprietary game engine, as well as of optimizing their performances.

You will have to quickly produce prototype animations (rough block animations to have a draft of the movements).

You will work closely with the of 3D Characters Graphic Designers team to respect the Art Direction of the project and understand the characterization of a character. You will then send the information to the Animation team. 

You will have a key role to play in terms of mentoring the animators in order to guide them on the artistic orientation of the animations to be produced.

Finally, this position also involves collaborating with the 3D Sets computer graphics teams, or the cinematic/3D camera team.

  • Great familiarity with 3D animation tools and very special mastery of Maya.
  • You are rigorous, autonomous, responsive and you have the attention to detail
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and have a pronounced taste for teamwork.
  • Knowledge of Shotgun would be a plus.

Detroit: Become Human, which released on May 25th 2018 on PLAYSTATION 4, is Quantic Dream’s fastest selling title to date, having sold in excess of 1 million units in its first two weeks on shelves. Heavy Rain, which released in February 2010 and won three BAFTA and DICE awards, remains our bestselling title so far, with combined sales of over 5 million units worldwide on PS3 and PS4.
