JOB DESCRIPTION:
As part of its development, Quantic Dream is looking for talented collaborators to join its team on their next ambitious productions. Attached to the GUI team within the Artistic/Graphic Direction, QUANTIC DREAM is looking for an Ergonomist in charge of defining the user experience on the whole of an application on various supports (mobile, console, PC, etc ...).
The ergonomist guides the user experience in order to facilitate the accomplishment of activities that the application offers and in order to offer a simple, easy and fun user experience. Through his intervention very early in the design phase of the project and by assiduous monitoring of its development, the ergonomist ensures the quality of the user experience. Through his approach that is both sensitive and pragmatic, the ergonomist seeks to reach the point of balance between a good gaming experience, the objectives of the project and the technical constraints.
To verify that the conceptualized architecture is developed in compliance with pre-requisite, you will be in close collaboration with the Game Design department to ensure consistency between the project concept and its implementation in the application, as well as the R&D programming teams and the UI Designer.
Your missions will be as follows:
- Ensure the design of the information architecture by:
- Defining user-centered design and gathering the needs of the different craftsmen of the project (Game Design, Art / graphics, programming)
- Defining the architecture, terminologies and navigation systems of the application
- Developing high-fidelity storyboards (or wireframe) to illustrate the organization of information, applications, and the behaviour of elements of the interface.
- Follow up on the design by:
- Ensuring that visual design serves the meaning, perception and understanding of the information
- Supporting teams of UI Designers and developers in the development and monitoring of developments.
- Ensure user studies by:
- Defining and/or supervising user studies and formalizing the recommendations following the research results.

PROFILE:
- Expertise in ergonomics.
- Graduated with a Master in Ergonomics or Design.
- Autonomy and proactivity.
- Very good team spirit and communication skills, ability to present concepts to an audience and ability to define precise technical specifications.
- Multidisciplinary background allowing the acquisition of knowledge in the fields of ergonomics, design, user studies, content strategy, among others.
- Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies.
- Mastery of design and prototyping tools (Illustrator, Axure, Adobe XD, etc ...).

Detroit:
Become Human, which released on May 25th 2018 on PLAYSTATION 4, is Quantic
Dream’s fastest selling title to date, having sold in excess of 1 million units
in its first two weeks on shelves. Heavy Rain, which released in February 2010
and won three BAFTA and DICE awards, remains our bestselling title so far, with
combined sales of over 5 million units worldwide on PS3 and PS4.
We
are currently working on several unannounced titles.
