R&D Production Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Production/Project Management team in our Production studio and in the studio R&D department, you will assist the technical managers and members of existing development teams in the planning and tracking of various internal IT projects developed in the context of our projects. You will thus join a high-added-value team of expert and talented colleagues.
Your role:
- You will form the link between users and technical teams, from the definition of user needs through to stage and final approval of deliverables;
- You will assist the technical managers in managing current and future developments, in planning the work of their colleagues and/or external teams, taking specified deadlines into account;
- You will provide project progress updates and reports to the technical department and the production department, regarding quality, cost and timing;
- You will assist the technical department in forecasting and steering the activity;
- In collaboration with the production department, you will prioritize current developments and adjust them to the studio’s overall priorities;
- You will ensure that the application “delivered” to users complies with the wishes expressed by the latter (acceptance) and you will ensure that adequate training in the application has been provided for them;
- You will ensure compliance with applicable standards and methods and compile documentation essential for understanding and performing corrective and ongoing maintenance of the application;
- You will be proactive in respect of resources and inputs to be used, in order to optimize all the conditions for accomplishing your tasks;
- Finally, you will manage two R&D Producers.

PROFILE:
- 4/5 years post-secondary school education in IT (School of Engineering or similar)
- 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position or solid experience as technical manager on major IT projects
- You are proficient in project management techniques
- You are experienced in the use of project and bug tracking software
- A meticulous and methodical self-starter with team spirit are the qualities ensuring you a good fit in our friendly organization.
- You have the interpersonal qualities to develop constructive relationships with your contacts.
- Analytical and summarizing skills
- You take the initiative and are proactive.

Become Human, which released on May 25th 2018 on PLAYSTATION 4, is Quantic
Dream’s fastest selling title to date, having sold in excess of 1 million units
in its first two weeks on shelves. Heavy Rain, which released in February 2010
and won three BAFTA and DICE awards, remains our bestselling title so far, with
combined sales of over 5 million units worldwide on PS3 and PS4.
We
are currently working on several unannounced titles.
