Lead Developer Unity



As part of its development program, and for its ambitious upcoming productions, QUANTIC DREAM is expanding its Mobile project team.

In conjunction with the R&D Department and as part of a team dedicated to the development of a mobile title, you will bring your vision and technical expertise to the challenges associated with the title/project.

In close collaboration with our CTO/R&D Director, and the 2 developers dedicated to the project, your tasks will be as follows:

  • Understanding the importance of, and implementing, a pipeline of simple and robust data;
  • Being proactive in the development of original features and providing solutions to technical challenges;
  • Supporting and improving the development process;
  • Managing, mentoring and training the existing team of 2 dedicated developers and providing support to the 2 Game Builders dedicated to the project;
  • Leading/reviewing the quality of the product code throughout the production cycle.
  • Writing robust code which can be used by a multitude of users;
  • Deconstructing and analyzing the mechanics of the project/title;
  • Supporting and contributing fresh ideas about the functionalities s of the project/title;
  • Working with the game designers, game developers, Art & Animation departments and the game director to supervise implementation of new functionalities and systems;
  • Collaborating closely with Game Design to ensure consistency between the concept of the title/project and its implementation;
  • Collaborating closely with the other R&D teams to bridge the gap between our in-house technology and that of Unity;
  • Finally, also collaborating with the Art, Animation and Sound Design teams to offer high-quality solutions to the challenges each team encounters.

  • You have a track record of around 6 years’ experience in game development, ideally in a similar position.
  • Proven experience with the Unity 2D/3D engine (editor and script)
  • Proficiency in C#
  • A well-honed vision of game experience and a very good eye for detail
  • Excellent knowledge of optimization problems
  • A mindset for writing generic code that can then be used everywhere.
  • Experience in the delivery of mobile games for Android / iOS
  • Ability to work in highly iterative and R&D processes
  • You are a good listener, are quick to understand and are able to translate needs into specifications
  • You are demonstrably curious and a self-starter
  • Skills in time-management and development processes, and the ability to apply these principles effectively through planning schedules and deadlines.


QUANTIC DREAM was founded in 1997 by David Cage. Today co-managed by David Cage and Guillaume de Fondaumière, our studio has gained over the years international recognition for its contribution to interactive narration and its fresh thinking on emotion in games.

We are also considered to be one of the leading motion capture studios, especially for the creation of real-time 3D Virtual Actors performing with stunning realism.

Over the last twenty one years we have developed proprietary engines and technologies, including some very advanced tools and a unique approach to the production pipeline.

As a game development studio, we collaborated in the past with major publishers including Eidos, Vivendi Universal Games, Microsoft Games Studios, Atari and Sony Computer Entertainment. We created the games OMIKRON THE NOMAD SOUL featuring recording artist David Bowie and FAHRENHEIT INDIGO PROPHECY.

Since 2006, we have developed the three award-winning and multimillion selling Playstation titles HEAVY RAIN (PS3/PS4), BEYOND: TWO SOULS (PS3/PS4) and DETROIT: BECOME HUMAN (PS4).

Detroit: Become Human, which released on May 25th 2018 on PLAYSTATION 4, is Quantic Dream’s fastest selling title to date, having sold in excess of 1 million units in its first two weeks on shelves. Heavy Rain, which released in February 2010 and won three BAFTA and DICE awards, remains our bestselling title so far, with combined sales of over 5 million units worldwide on PS3 and PS4.

We are currently working on several unannounced titles.
