We
are actively looking for an experienced and talented environment artist to join
our studio in Paris.
You
will join our growing team and work on beautiful, exciting games. You will work
closely with other artists, game/level designers and developers as part of an
experienced team. Your artistic and technical skills will help create our amazing new AAA projects.
The
Environment Artist:
- Has a
strong eye for top of the industry visual quality.
- Talented
and driven by excellence, learns and shares knowledge to constantly push the quality
of deliverables.
- Takes
initiative and ownership of creative tasks and produces autonomously with or
without guidance
- Is wholly
dedicated to partnering with the organization every day to create amazing
things
Tasks:
- Works closely with the Lead Environment and Art Director to define and
deliver the aesthetic vision for the game.
- Creates high-quality game-ready environment art and assets through modeling,
sculpting, and texturing.
- Follows directions, brings ideas to the table, and delivers elements on schedule.
- Collaborates
effectively with Level Designers, Concept Artists and everyone involved in the
environment creation process.
- Collaborates
with rendering engineers and technical artists to optimize assets, provide
feedback, improve technology, tools, and workflows
- Maintains a high level of excellence in processes, projects, deliverables,
and communication.

Profile:
- 5+
years of experience creating high-quality 3D architecture, environments, and
props for AAA games.
- A
positive and creative team player, who is proactive and takes initiative.
- Works autonomously with a high degree of motivation.
- Committed to raising the bar for yourself,
the project, and the team.
- Strong esthetic appreciation for proportions, mass,
volume, lighting and color.
- Experience
assimilating art direction, understanding visual intent, and creatively
implementing it.
- Excellent ability to take criticism positively, make
changes, and communicate ideas
- Expert level proficiency in Maya, Photoshop.
- High
level proficiency in Z-Brush, Substance Painter & Designer, and other 3rd party software used to
create stunning environments.
Bonus points
- Passionate about
games and real time technology.
- Expert with photogrammetry process,
procedural content creation, or PBR workflows
- Conversational
French would be a plus.

Detroit:
Become Human, which released on May 25th 2018 on PLAYSTATION 4, is Quantic
Dream’s fastest selling title to date, having sold in excess of 1 million units
in its first two weeks on shelves. Heavy Rain, which released in February 2010
and won three BAFTA and DICE awards, remains our bestselling title so far, with
combined sales of over 5 million units worldwide on PS3 and PS4.
We
are currently working on several unannounced titles.
