LEGO
is looking for a Sr. Pipeline TD to join the LEGO CG dev team to develop the
pipeline, production tools and workflows to meet our artists needs and deliver
the digital content output to meet the current and future business requirements for LEGO
The
Senior Pipeline TD will work alongside the Pipeline Leads and Product managers
to mature the existing pipeline & tools but also help design and implement
new tools and pipeline to meet our customers future content needs with an
overall goal of automating and streamlining the generation of render ready
assets for production to give our artists the freedom to create amazing digital
content.

all manner of marketing needs.
To do that we need skilled developers & artists who can help define the
visual quality, inform on pipeline development, and help shape the tools that
our artists will use to deliver on the needs of the business. This is a great

This
is a consultancy contract role for 6 months with possibility of further extension
based on performance.
Responsibilities:
Supporting and enhancing
current workflows and pipeline.
Design/Testing/Documenting of
future Tools and pipeline requirements in line with business needs
Troubleshoot problems and
implement solutions
Review code and offer
constructive feedback
Assists leads & management
with all aspects of technical components
Attend daily department
meetings as required
Job
Requirements:
3+ years in a VFX/animation
Pipeline or similar position.
Experience in designing and
creating systems, tools, and assets for production.
Extensive technical knowledge
of common production requirements.
Advanced Experience scripting
in Python, PyQt.
Advanced knowledge of Maya
Experience with version
control.
Able to work to both long and
short deadlines and multitask.
Ability to prioritize
production needs and tasks.
Ability to collaborate and
offer solutions with great problem-solving skills
Strong Written & verbal
communication skills (English)

Compositing software skills
& pipeline setup a plus
Render pipeline setup
experience with VRay or similar software a plus
Task/asset management pipeline
setup with Ftrack, a plus
Deadline experience a plus
Substance experience
Knowledge of USD, Material X,
OSL a plus
Knowledge of AWS cloud
development a plus
Unreal engine experience a
plus
Relevant educations are a plus, but not necessary. Applicants
