Senior UI Designer


Job description

Currently in the development phase of new in-house AAA projects, Quantic Dream is expanding its User Interface team.

Reporting to the UI/UX Lead and as part of a close team driven by innovation and team spirit, you will be involved in the design, prototyping, production and technical integration of in-game interfaces and menus for our upcoming titles.

In collaboration with the Art Department, Game Design teams and Development teams, your role will be as follows:

  • To design user interfaces, wireframes, prototypes and user flows as required, ensuring that they are attractive, intuitive and ergonomic within a multiplatform universe.
  • To maintain a uniform and consistent art style over the whole project, complying with guidelines.
  • In close collaboration with the team developer, to ensure the technical integration of in-game 2D/3D interfaces, menus and/or cross-media elements.
  • To actively participate in graphics research around the project in question, and thus to feed the interface in terms of visual styles.
  • To interact and communicate effectively with all the teams involved in the project (Game Design, R&D, testers etc.).

Required skills

  • Experience in interactive design in the area of video games, websites and apps, or other experience.
  • Expertise in design, layout, visual identity, typography, animation and iconography.
  • Keen attention to detail, and ability to drive concept development beyond initial implementation.
  • Ability to present concepts to an audience, and skill in defining a precise technical specification.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain collaboration and excellent communication between teams.
  • Awareness of current graphic and design trends in the area of user interfaces would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of motion design and/or 3D would be an advantage;
  • Experience with engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine would be an advantage.



  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a UI Designer, ideally focusing on the creation of innovative and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite tools.
  • Equivalent experience on published multi-platform games.

Detroit: Become Human, which released on May 25th 2018 on PLAYSTATION 4, is Quantic Dream’s fastest selling title to date, having sold in excess of 1 million units in its first two weeks on shelves. Heavy Rain, which released in February 2010 and won three BAFTA and DICE awards, remains our bestselling title so far, with combined sales of over 5 million units worldwide on PS3 and PS4.

We are currently working on several unannounced titles.
