VFX Production Assistant

Job Description

The VFX Production Assistant works with the VFX production team to ensure the effective running of the department during the production and post-production phase of the show. The VFX PA also interfaces with other show departments as it relates to collecting and distributing material requested by our VFX vendor(s).

General Duties

·       Department calendar management

·       Processing incoming and outgoing shipments for VFX vendor(s)

·       Digital file management

·       Data entry

·       Note taking

·       All other duties as requested by the production team or facility

Requirements

·       Previous film industry experience a plus

·       Interest in pursuing a career in VFX

·       Highly organized, proactive, problem solver

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Must work well in a high pressure environment

·       Must be familiar with MS Office (MS Word, Excel), Outlook

·       Experience with Mac OS, Linux and Filemaker Pro a plus

·       Candidates must be US citizens or Permanent Residence card (Green Card) holders.
